Greg Krywosa is the founder of GSK Builders Group, where he brings extensive experience providing clients with construction advisory and management services from initial conception through final completion. He is based in New York, and leverages a professional network that extends throughout the US.
Greg has been responsible for over $600 MM of construction in the New York Metro area with direct oversight of over 3.4 million square feet of work in place. His experience transcends project types – from custom single-family homes in the suburbs to large, complex high-rise projects in New York City.
Prior to establishing GSK Builders Group, Greg was Vice President of Facilities for Knight Capital Group (NYSE: KCG), where he was responsible for real estate, construction and facilities management at several of Knight’s locations including corporate headquarters in Jersey City, NJ and satellite offices in Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, Garden City, NY and Purchase, NY. He was charged with real estate evaluation, lease negotiation and property selection for new offices and trading floors, management of design and construction teams along with their respective budgets, and day to day facilities related matters to ensure uninterrupted and comfortable trading operations at headquarters and throughout the country. Greg oversaw the construction of Knight’s new $48 MM headquarters facility including a 25,000 square foot trading floor and 75,000 square feet of general and executive office space.
Prior to joining Knight, Greg spent nine years with Bovis Lend Lease (ASX: LLC), where he was responsible for $531 MM worth of residential and commercial high-rise projects in Manhattan. While at Bovis, he was involved in both field operations and overall project management with direct oversight of over 3.3 million square feet of construction.
Greg started his professional career at Walter B. Melvin Architects, LLC as a field engineer where he performed field inspections of historic landmarked facades as part of a comprehensive leak investigation program. He participated in the restoration of several landmarked structures in New York City and Princeton, NJ in this capacity.
Greg received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York, and holds home-building licenses in New York and South Carolina.
